Trebek Center Shelter

Northridge, CA.
DNA Architecture

One of the first shelters to be provided in the San Fernando Valley will provide over 100 beds to confront houselessness in the City as a whole.  The former roller-skating rink parking area has the potential to provide open space that can be part of a humane and civil experience for people caring for dogs, who are interested in gardening and in need of space and facilities to repair bicycles.  The opportunity to create substantial outdoor facilities is a rare opportunity where most of the outdoor space can be used for people and not reserved for parking.
